Welcome to Our Family & Children Page

If we had to choose one "theme" that motivated us the most to launch this site, it's seeing what the Rat Race is doing to families and children. It's chewing up families at a furious clip, diminishing our role in our children's lives -- often making strangers of parent and child -- and distorting their own experience of childhood as well. (And just as a footnote, it's replacing the love and tenderness between partners with stress, preoccupation, and absence.)

But it's not too late to turn the ships of our families in a better direction. Here are some resources to help you identify a better course, avoid the rocks and shoals, and move toward a more positive destination for you and yours.

Rebelliously Yours,

Chris & Mike

Mom's Mini Van - "The topic of what to do with your children in the car has come up again and  again in my many years of participating in parenting support groups and discussions online. Parents were often desperate for ideas, and other moms had plenty of advice to give, but there was never one good all-inclusive resource on the topic. For years I enjoyed website creation for my personal family website, so I decided to create this website as a resource for moms everywhere."
